April KAL

Each month we will select a pattern submitted by one of our Knitizens as the KAL and/or CAL of the Month.  The winner will receive a 10% discount on their yarn for the project and  participants will be added to a drawing for a free skein of 1918 Yarn (to be eligible you must register here and have purchased your yarn from Harps & Thistles).  We also have created a Facebook page for folks to share their progress.

This shawlette is designed to be knitted from just one skein of fingering weight yarn and is an elongated triangular shape drapes beautifully around the shoulders while the beads add gorgeous glamour.

This could make an ideal first time project for lace and bead knitting as the lace patterns in the shawl are quite straightforward.
