Have you ever been in a yarn store, and there is that one perfect skein of indie-dyed fingering weight yarn that just jumps into your hand (how did that happen?) and you just have to buy it? Yeah, me too. So what to knit with it? We have classes for that! Our series of One Skein Wonders classes are created to find projects that use one skein of fingering weight yarn, and are easy enough for beginners. All patterns are chosen to be easily memorized, so you can knit up a beautiful scarf or shawl in no time. And if you start early, you can get a few done for Christmas presents.

This class features Hitchhiker, a design has over 33,000 projects on Ravelry. I can understand why it is so popular. Even though the pattern is written for fingering weight, you can use any weight yarn, as long as you find a good needle size.

100-150 grams fingering weight yarn. A variegated or speckled yarn would be great, but a striped, gradient, or even solid would be beautiful as well. Basically, anything goes.

2.5 US (3.0mm) circular needle, 24 or 32"

Pattern is available on Ravelry, or purchased at the shop.

Please Note:  Please be sure to make your purchases prior to class to avoid any delay in start time.
