>>Pattern includes instructions for 4 sizes, from baby to adult. The following yarn recommendations are for the large size (see pattern for more info)
>>4.5 skeins (~600 yards) of #5 weight yarn, like Berroco Vintage Chunky
>>3 skeins (~560 yards) of #4/worsted weight yarn
