Strange Brew Sweater Class! ~ November 2, 9, 16 & 30

Strange Brew makes it simple and Kathy will walk you through it!

Just follow the instructions, they’ve done the math for you and included 25 sizes. Pick some pretty motifs and cast on with Kathy!

The recipe includes:

• Instructions for designing your sweater top-down or bottom-up
• An overview of round yoke design.
• A ‘plug and play’ round yoke guideline pattern (just follow the pattern - no math!).
• Nearly 100 stitch patterns to get you started
• A ‘wedge design’ strategy for the more adventurous knitter.

HOMEWORK:  You must knit a swatch with the correct gauge prior to class

Materials: 

Pattern:  Strange Brew by Tin can knits

Pattern can be purchased directly from Ravelry or from Harps & Thistles when you come in to get your yarn.

Yarn:  Although this pattern is written for use of all different weights, for simplicity's sake, we will be using worsted weight for this class.  Stop in the shop for assistance in selecting the correct yarn and quantity for your size.

Needles:  Size US 6 & 8 - 16" & 32" circulars (or size needed to obtain gauge)

Gauge:  18 sts & 21 rounds / 4” in stranded colorwork on larger needles

NOTE: The cost of the class does not include materials or patterns so these must be purchased separately. Unless otherwise stated, we require that all class yarn is purchased here.
