Prerequisite Skills: graduated from L2C Beginner course & a level 1 course OR have mastered sc, dc and are ready for a pattern reading challenge while making an awesome shawl.
Materials you will need: 900 yards of sock or lace weight yarn of your choice (May be done with lesser yardage of higher weight yarn too) and D (3.25 mm)hook or higher (use appropriate hook for your yarn choice for appropriate gauge). Using gradient yarn or combinations of various colors will give your project a look of it's own.
Pattern: Spill by Jenn Wolfe Kaiser
Skills you will learn: This pattern has only sc, dc, slip stitches & skipped stitches as well as short rows - but will challenge your pattern reading and counting skills.
Description: This shawl uses simple stitches but stands apart with it's use of short rows and gradient yarn choice to create a gradual, off-center color change. How will your one-of-a-kind shawl look?

Beginner - you have no experience with the technique or skills, the class is designed to teach you the basics.
Intermediate – you have some experience and confidence with the technique or skills, but need a bit more practice, you’re ready to take your skills to the next level.
Advanced – you know how to read patterns and understanding how the stitch is made; you know what you are doing. You are ready for a challenge and to learn new techniques and skills.
Students must register and pay prior to the class, in person, online or call-in to reserve a spot. We accept cash, check or credit card payments for classes.
Cancel 48 hrs or more prior to class – full refund
Cancel 24 – 48 hrs prior to class – Receive a store credit for full amount
Cancel less than 24 hrs prior to class – No Refund of any kind
If Harps & Thistles and/or the instructor cancels the class for any reason you will have a choice of applying the fee to another class or receiving a refund.
